You can now create custom booking statuses to better track and organize your time slots. Instead of being limited to the default statuses (Available, Booked, Blocked, etc.), you can create your own statuses like "Checked in," "No-show," "VIP booking," or "Staff training" with custom colors that appear throughout your booking calendars.
What you can do
Create custom statuses
From any booking calendar view, open the settings (gear icon) and scroll to the "Custom statuses" section. Here you can:
- Add new statuses with a name and color of your choice
- Edit existing statuses to change the name or color
- Remove statuses you no longer need (existing bookings with that status will still display correctly)
Apply statuses to time slots
When creating or editing a time slot, you'll see your custom statuses in the status dropdown alongside the default options. Select any status to apply it to that slot.
Filter by status
Use the status filter dropdown to show only slots with a specific status. This works with both default and custom statuses.
Where this works
Custom statuses appear in all three booking management views:
- Booking calendar
- Resource calendar
- Bookings list
Custom statuses are for internal use only. Your customers will not see custom status names or colors on the public booking site. Slots with custom statuses will appear as unavailable to customers unless specifically configured otherwise.
