Automated & Smarter Photo Overlays
We’ve launched major upgrades to the Photo Overlay feature, automating the process and improving the speed of your game master workflow.
Auto-Apply Smart Overlays
Administrators can now set up rules for overlays to be applied automatically when a photo is taken.
- Set the Rules: Admins can now choose specific overlays, link them to specific games, and define an Apply Condition (e.g., Always, Game was completed, or Game was not completed).
- Zero-Touch Workflow: When a game master takes a photo, the system instantly identifies the correct overlay based on the game and the outcome, and applies it automatically—no manual selection needed.
Smoother Game Master Experience
In addition, we've improved the photo interface in both Game Trackers and the main Photos page for a faster, cleaner experience:
- Process in the Background: Applying an overlay now closes the modal immediately, allowing you to move on while the image processing finishes in the background.
- Clearer Feedback: Loading indicators (like "Processing overlay...") are now small and appear right on the photo, not blocking your screen.
- Preview Before You Commit: When manually selecting an overlay, you will always see a full preview.
- Cleaner Interface: Smart buttons and better placeholders (like a camera icon) keep the photo section uncluttered and easy to use.
