Accepting Full Payment When Deposits Are Enabled
If deposits are enabled, standard payment requests will only charge the deposit. To let a customer pay in full (e.g., corporate groups), you must override the deposit on that specific booking.
How to Allow Full Payment
- Go to Bookings, then click on the respective booking that you need to enable a custom deposit on.
- View the Transaction by clicking the arrow to the right of the Transaction ID.
- Navigate from the All Purchases tab to Payments.
- Click Payment options > Enable custom deposit
- This will display a pop-up where you can enable it and define the amount necessary.
- Click Save, then Send payment request.
It's important to remember that making changes to a transaction may not be reflected in any payment requests already sent to a customer. It's best practice to send a new one after all adjustments are made.
