Choosing the Right Workflow
Your platform offers three distinct waiver types, each designed to optimize a specific stage of the customer journey. Choosing the right type ensures a smooth check-in experience and efficient management for your team.
The Three Waiver Types
| Waiver Type | Best Use Case | How it Works | Key Benefit |
| Traditional Waiver | On-site check-in for walk-ins, kiosk implementations, and physical reception areas. | Customers select their booking date and time directly on the device before signing. | Most versatile and best for self-service or staff-assisted check-in at the venue. |
| Shareable Waiver | Pre-visit collection for group bookings and email campaigns. | A unique URL is generated for each booking and sent directly to the group leader to distribute to all participants. | Drastically reduces on-site check-in time and pre-collects participant information. |
| Lookup Waiver | Public booking scenarios and high-volume operations where customers may not have confirmation details readily available. | Customers search for their booking using identifying details like name or email. | Offers maximum flexibility and reduces staff involvement by enabling quick self-service lookups. |
Choosing the Right Waiver Type
When deciding which waiver to activate, consider where you want the friction point to be: before the visit, or during check-in.
Booking Flow:
- Online Bookings/Group Sales > Shareable Waiver (Maximizes pre-completion).
- Walk-ins/Immediate Bookings > Traditional Waiver (Optimized for on-the-spot completion).
Venue Setup:
- If you have dedicated kiosks or tablet stations, the Traditional Waiver integrates seamlessly for self-service check-in.
Customer Experience:
- If you anticipate customers may forget their confirmation number, the Lookup Waiver provides a simple safety net.
Activating Waiver Types
You can activate multiple waiver types simultaneously to accommodate different customer scenarios (e.g., using a Shareable link for pre-arrival and a Traditional Kiosk for anyone who forgot to sign).
To activate a waiver type:
- Navigate to Waivers > Waiver Settings.
- Select the desired waiver type (e.g., Shareable Waiver).
- Complete the required settings.
- Activate the waiver by clicking the three dots, followed by Activate waiver
