Event Logs
What is the Event Log, and what does it track?
The Event Log records all actions that occur within the OTC platform, including:
- Bookings (Creation, modifications, and cancellations to bookings)
- Transactions (Payments, refunds, and other adjustments)
- Game Management (Updates to puzzles and submitted game history)
- Gift Cards (Purchase and redemptions)
- Users (Actions performed by staff, such as editing or moving bookings)
Why do Event, Transaction, and Booking Slot logs show different data?
Off The Couch provides multiple logs for tracking activities:
- Transaction Log: Records payments, refunds, and declined transactions.
- Booking Slot Log: Tracks booking time slots and modifications.
- Event Log: Captures everything, including system-wide actions.
How to check event log details:
- Navigate to Settings > Event Logs
- Filter by User, Feature, or Event
- Review timestamps for when actions were submitted or updated
This allows for better tracking of discrepancies in bookings, transactions, and game times.
